About Safe Haven:

Safe Haven is a nonprofit multidisciplinary outreach program that provides health and rehabilitation services and social work support for children with disabilities and their families in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Website: Safe Haven seeks an experienced pediatric physiotherapist for a minimum one-year commitment to help build the capacity of our Cambodian program staff. This full-time position includes a salary and benefits package (including relocation allowance) that allows for a comfortable standard of living in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Siem Reap is a small, dynamic city described by Lonely Planet as “the epicentre of chic Cambodia”. Translated into everyday life, there’s a huge range of services available including food and entertainment layered upon the warm and welcoming Khmer culture, creating a rich life for the expatriate. This is an opportunity to contribute to the further development of professional physiotherapy in a country with a high rate of disability and a shortage of physiotherapists. Working alongside Cambodian colleagues to build their professional capacity leaves a long-lasting legacy of improved care for vulnerable children.



 Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in pediatric physiotherapy, with an emphasis on cerebral palsy rehabilitation, a keen interest in global health disability issues, and a desire to work in low resource settings building the capacity of local professional staff.
 References and background check required
 Current PT licensure or registration in home country
 Candidate must have passport with at least 18 months validity
 Must be up to date on all routine vaccines including Hep B* *Hep A and Typhoid will be covered by SH if candidate is not already vaccinated

Length Of Contract: 12 months (with possibility of renewal)
